Tonight was the Samsung Mobile Rockin' Roundup pre-race concert at Texas Motor Speedway. Kenny Wallace & I got to MC the event. Performers included Pat Green, Los Lonely Boys, and Celena Rae. Yee-haw!
Ridealongs at the Track (11/03/05)
Ever gone 125mph on 24-degree banking on a racetrack? I hadn't either until today. Brad Gillie & I went on ridealongs with some of the Chevy drivers to test out the new 2006 SS models. Afterward, we attended a press conference where Troy Aikman & Roger Staubach announced their new Hall of Fame Racing team.
NCTS Silverado 350 (11/04/05)
Today was the Silverado 350 NCTS race. Brad Gillie & I interviewed the winning driver [url=http://www.todd-bodine.com][b]Todd Bodine[/b][/url] after the race. I really embarrassed myself when I referred to his girlfriend as his wife because it turns out he & his wife were divorced. Damn media guide and its misinformation.
O'Reilly Challenge (11/05/05)
The Busch Series race was today. We were lucky to interview a couple of big name drivers.
Dickies 500 (11/06/05)
Here are some pix. from race 8 (34th of 36) in the Chase for the Nextel Cup. The pre-race show was pretty cool w/skydivers and music. Afterward, Brad Gillie & I went to Victory Lane to see Carl Edwards receive his trophy. Pretty exciting!
